Video Projects I Worked On

The content of these videos show a few of the activities and projects that have been done at Stafford, and some of the content is from when I worked in k-12 school districts and conferences that I’ve spoken at.

2003 – Solar Wars

Solar Wars was the first video project I worked on, and it was cutting edge when we gave elementary students Palm Pilots.  I’ve enjoyed working with professional camera people and producers who can make better use of camera equipment, audio and software.

2016 – Gulf Coast Reads

This is a yearly, regional reading program, and I not only facilitated discussion groups on our book, The Train to Crystal City, but I also showed the author’s book talk and a documentary on Japanese internment camps.  This also allowed me the opportunity to give my SLAC (now TLC) president the chance to speak on camera.

2016 – Dead Ernie

Because students had mentioned to me that they wish they had a skeleton, when the opportunity came up to talk with the biology department, we were able to get them to loan us Dead Ernie & Company.

2017 – Library Easter Egg Hunt

This was an opportunity to promote what SLAC (now TLC) had done in their first annual Easter Egg Hunt.
